What's New? Part 4

Okay, I know we said that there were only going to be 3 parts to this post, but that last part got so long, and we had so much to say, that a fourth part just made sense. So here it is, part 4 of 3! (Reminds me of that bank: Fifth Third Bank. How can you have 5/3 of something? I wonder about their math skills!)

Since our immediately previous post finished up talking about Equipment Rental Training Videos, we felt we needed to deal with the other shoe dropping and the begged question: What about other products?

In answer to that, here you go!

Other Product Training Video Availability, etc.
For those using Summit Route Management™, we will have the first group of training videos ready in August. The setup and users’ guides will also be available by then, but the eBook: 8 Secrets to Increase Profits through Route Management is available now. Check out the five intro videos at www.ritam.com for good overview information in the meantime.

Those using Summit Service Profit Builder™ and Summit Rendering Profit Builder™ should see some initial training videos in August as well (maybe even in July). The setup and users’ guides are being authored, and the eBook: 16 Secrets to Increase Profits in the Service Industry is almost complete. Look for the eBook in July along with the Version 4.01.b release (when the guides are finished). For now, the intro videos available at www.ritam.com provide good background information for new users.

Summit Reminders Plus™ has all new setup and users’ guide, and an initial training video. We will use the same eBook for Reminders customers, since all of the information applies to their businesses. Again, look for that in July, and development of the “Pro” version will begin in August. Your thoughts and comments on what you would like to see in this Pro version would be helpful.

Summit Maintenance Plus™ has a new eBook: 8 Secrets to Increase Profits through Fleet Maintenance available now for users at www.ritam.com (login required). An intro video is also available there for all viewers. A “Pro” version will begin in October, and any ideas or comments for what to include in the Pro version are most welcome. An updated setup and users’ guide will be available when the Pro version is completed.

Summit Incentives Plus™ has an intro video available (www.ritam.com) for all viewers and should have an eBook in September. (Stay tuned on that.) A “Pro” version is being contemplated, and suggestions are very welcome. An updated setup and users’ guide will be produced along with revisions done in preparation for the Pro version, which should be in the November/December timeframe. An eBook related to this product will come out around the same time.

Summit Contacts Plus™ will get a new eBook and updated setup/users’ guide by January 2011. (As you can imagine, planning around here can get a little hairy.) “Pro” version ideas are welcome, keeping in mind that connectivity to more than just Summit Rental Profit Builder will be included in the base version. We intend to make getting information into and out from Contacts will be expanded and simple, as it currently is for links with the Rental program.

Plus product training videos in general will be developed concurrent to the Pro versions. With the intro videos currently available, and the relative ease of using the Plus products, the need for in-depth training has not been as critical. Still, we want to round out our product offerings in each area and offer the same tools for each. Pricing on Plus product training videos will be inexpensive, like the products themselves.

So maybe that was more information than you bargained for, but I don’t think it reached the point where you said “Too much information!” As with any planning, we try to have an optimistic start but then factor in reality to work out our “realistic” timeframes. Circumstances can and will change, but we are dedicated to improving our products and our services for you.

By helping support us, we can better support you. If you have a need for any of our new service offerings (graphic design, video production, social media management), please let us know. We all need to pull together to get through these tough economic times to the halcyon days of prosperity again. (Yes, I had to look up the definition to ensure I got the usage correct, but I always wanted to say that.)

Stay tuned and plugged in. Comments are always welcome:
